License Key Not Working

There are a few reasons why your license key could possibly not be working.

Xopus checks license keys by loading the license key from the server. When you are working on a domain like xxx.yy.mydomain.com Xopus will check for the following domains:

  • xxx.yyy.mydomain.com

  • yyy.mydomain.com

  • mydomain.com

Xopus check from the lowest level domain to all possible higher level domains. If the server returns a HTTP status code of 200 for any of these Xopus will try to check that license with the Xopus server.

This might be a reason why Xopus will report a license key error when the key exists for mydomain.com, but an error is returned for xxx.yyy.mydomain.com: If server returns 200 for the wrong key Xopus will stop checking for higher level domains.
