On some users laptops we run into trouble when trying to start Xopus.
This seems to be related to msxml version. On these laptops msxml 5 seems to be installed (http://xopus.com/files/msxmltester/)

We found a workaround. Touching the Xopus/xopus\msxml4install/index.html file from a browser solves the problem but only for the current browser session.
Is there any better way to handle this? Or should Xopus handle it more gracefully?

This may be a conflict between integration code that may use another version of MSXML than the version that Xopus uses. That can be tested by trying the online demos, if they do work, the problem is specific to thsi configuration. The problem can be fixed by using the Editor.XML.createNativeXMLDocument and Editor.XML.createNativeXMLHttpRequest methods to create XML documents and XMLHttpRequest objects.

I have problems with msxml too. I tried playing age of empires and it says there is a problem with the msxml. It acording to my PC it didn't install correctly. But after reinstalling it still won't work.

A step-by-step solution is provided by Microsoft, which can be found at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/810209
