Factonomy

Factonomy licenses its Framework to enable businesses to take control of their business applications.  Based on our discovery of Declarative XML and with the incorporation of Xopus, the Framework supports the development of applications by business analysts.

The flexibility, rapid development and familiar web-based environment combine to ensure enthusiastic user adoption of the resultant solutions.  This approach is efficient and effective for in-house developers, SI’s and ISV’s, dramatically increasing productivity.

Just as Microsoft Word and Excel provide the framework to develop personal productivity, so the Factonomy Framework provides a coherent end-to-end environment for the development of business solutions, putting that power into the hands of business analysts – like Word and Excel which do not require a knowledge of programming, so the Factonomy Framework empowers the people who understand the business.  The solutions which are developed are rapidly produced and flexible to match the constantly changing business environment.

What a stunning demonstration. Now I understand why XML really is more than just another way to store documents or content.
