When will Xopus support CALS tables? In October last year Sjoerd said: "But we are getting more request lately for CALS tables, so it's moving to the top of our priority list."

Is there at this moment any development for CALS tables?

Supporting CALS tables is mostly a matter of supporting the start and end attributes to create colspans, and also several of the other attributes. For Xopus this would mean we take this 'special' attributes into account for our table editor.

Currently the table editor has custom code for adding rows and colums and this will have to be rewritten.

CALS tables already work in Xopus; the XML is valid, but editing the colspecs and names is just a little more work.

More custom code to support the above mentioned attributes will most likely not be available until the end of the summer.
