I have justed started using Xopus to see if it will help me in localising an educational website. I am working with snippets of XML code taken from components on our CMS. I get "cannot view xml input using xsl style sheet" and I know this is caused by accented chars and apostrophes in the text although I have used "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>". Is there anything I can do about this?

You can perhaps check that the whole track for the XML, from database into the browser, is using UTF-8 encoding. Otherwise you can send the XML file to us and then we can have a look for you. You can mail it support@xopus.com

Thanks for your reply, Carl. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the whole code as it was originally developed by an external commercial company. The XML file is read by a Flash application. The English version works fine but I don't know if that's saying anything ...

Thanks anyway

Is the XSL you are using using UTF-8?

If Xopus can load the XML file from the server, then you should also be able to access that XML file otherwise. Perhaps you can contact that company and see if they can get the XML for you, and look at the code while they are at it.
